Gregory Warfield Jr. is a Cape Cod native, award-winning filmmaker, and production leader whose career has been built around one simple belief: great productions happen when people enjoy coming to work. As Co-Founder of Sweeter The Juice Films, Gregory helps lead a Black- and woman-owned production company, creative production partner, and production services company that delivers commercial campaigns, branded content, documentaries, photography, and production support throughout New England, the Northeast, and nationwide.

A lifelong lover of film and storytelling, Gregory has spent his career creating environments where creativity and professionalism can thrive together. His philosophy is rooted in collaboration, trust, and respect—because the strongest productions are built by teams that feel supported, valued, and empowered to do their best work.

Beginning his career as a Production Assistant, Gregory steadily worked his way through nearly every level of production before becoming one of New England's most trusted First Assistant Directors. Early in his career, he was entrusted by established production companies to help facilitate nationally distributed fitness productions during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Those opportunities became a turning point, opening the door to long-term relationships with major brands and proving his ability to lead complex productions under constantly evolving circumstances. The experience ultimately helped lay the foundation for what would become Sweeter The Juice Films.

Today, Gregory serves as Head of Production at STJF—the operational backbone of the company. He oversees production strategy, execution, scheduling, logistics, budgeting, crew leadership, and operational planning across projects of every size. Whether managing a lean documentary crew, orchestrating a large-scale commercial campaign, or supporting an out-of-town production with local services, Gregory is known for bringing structure, clarity, and calm to even the most demanding productions. His ability to unite departments, anticipate challenges, and keep productions moving efficiently allows creative teams to focus on delivering exceptional work.

Gregory has been trusted by agencies, brands, production companies, nonprofits, and cultural institutions to lead productions ranging from regional campaigns to nationally recognized commercial work. His production leadership has contributed to award-winning projects, reflecting the confidence clients place in his ability to execute ambitious productions with precision, adaptability, and care.

Beyond client work, Gregory is deeply committed to building opportunities for filmmakers throughout New England. Alongside Co-Founder Victoria Ashly Griggs, he has helped cultivate an inclusive production company where diverse voices are welcomed, emerging creatives are mentored, and every crew member is treated with respect. Together, they have helped advance more equitable hiring practices throughout Boston's production community while building pathways for underrepresented filmmakers to gain meaningful experience on professional productions.

Gregory has also been a driving force behind Sweeter The Juice Films' original narrative filmmaking efforts. Believing that independent storytelling is essential to growing a thriving film ecosystem in Boston, he continues to champion projects that allow local artists and filmmakers to create meaningful work while building a sustainable creative community in the region.
